Integrated Logistics Operations Specialist

About the role

As a member of the Freight Forwarding team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will coordinate and plan customer orders and shipments while handling visibility inquiries, complaints, and ad‑hoc requests. The role ensures high customer satisfaction, collaborates with multiple stakeholders, and develops expertise in 4PL shared services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage activities related to the Ops Specialist function within the Bogota LCC, including direct‑line supervision of Ops Supervisors.
• Execute SOPs and Work Instructions, maintaining customer service levels and service‑level agreements for all clients.
• Resolve medium and high‑impact business issues in partnership with IT, procurement, quality, and regional/global LCCs.
• Provide timely escalation reporting to decision‑makers.
• Support training and backup of IL Operations Specialists for existing and new client scopes.
• Conduct quality audits for general and client‑specific programs, including GxP compliance.
• Identify productivity improvement opportunities using advanced analytical tools and root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in at least one transportation mode (Air, Sea, or Road).
• Desirable experience with 4PL models, operational planning, and customer service.
• Advanced English language skills.
