iOS Software Engineer – Swift Development

About the role

EPAM is looking for a creative iOS Software Engineer to join its mobile engineering team. You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of native iOS applications using Swift, delivering high‑performance, user‑friendly experiences for global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain native iOS applications with Swift.
• Collaborate with product designers to create pixel‑perfect, responsive UI that follows Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
• Integrate the app with backend services via RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Write clean, modular code and participate in code reviews.
• Develop unit and UI tests using XCTest and monitor performance with Instruments.
• Support the release lifecycle, including build preparation and App Store submission.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in native iOS development.
• Proficiency in Swift and solid knowledge of the iOS SDK and Xcode.
• Understanding of modern iOS architectural patterns (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, Combine, Swift Concurrency).
• Familiarity with SwiftUI (preferred) or UIKit (Auto Layout, Storyboards/XIBs).
• Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum workflows (e.g., Jira).
• English level B1+ for effective communication.
