IT Specialist (Hotel)

About the role

The IT Specialist will provide technical support for the hotel’s systems, infrastructure and services, ensuring seamless operation for both staff and guests. This role is based on-site at the Four Seasons property in Cartagena and works closely with internal teams and external providers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain servers and workstations with the latest security patches.
• Monitor performance and health of all hotel IT systems.
• Ensure continuous operation of hotel communications networks.
• Provide IT support to hotel staff and guests.
• Assist vendors on‑site or virtually when required.
• Establish and enforce information security standards.
• Perform maintenance on computers and electronic devices.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments and build strong interpersonal relationships.
• Identify and resolve IT‑related issues promptly.

Required profile

• Intermediate knowledge of Windows 11, Office 365 and Azure.
• Mandatory experience supporting computer hardware (tablets and PCs).
• Desirable experience with server administration and virtualization.
• Familiarity with hotel management and POS applications such as Opera and Symphony is a plus.
• Technical English at an intermediate level.
• Technical or professional degree in technology, telecommunications, systems or related fields.
