Jr Communications Manager

About the role

Take your communications career to the next level at Tetra Pak in this dynamic and wide‑ranging role. Based in Bogota, you will help strengthen Tetra Pak’s brand and reputation across the Andina region (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Venezuela). You will work cross‑functionally with communications, sales, marketing and other teams to develop and lead the regional communications strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive communications strategy with the Communications Director and manage the associated budget.
• Lead media relations, crisis communications, and B2B initiatives focusing on innovation and sustainability.
• Plan and execute press events, thought‑leadership activities and support marketing communications at trade shows and customer events.
• Manage brand content across social media and other digital channels.
• Produce internal news, optimise the intranet, develop leadership messaging and organise town‑halls and internal events.
• Support the Managing Director’s engagements with internal audiences.
• Collaborate with PR, digital and creative agencies and ensure alignment with regional and global communications teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate communications.
• Proven track record of successful communications projects and activities.
• Familiarity with digital tools, methodologies and trends.
• Strong ability to build relationships across multicultural and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to influence within global organisations and challenge the status quo.
