Junior React.js Software Developer

About the role

GIGA IT is looking for a Junior React.js Software Developer to join its growing team. You will work on frontend projects, following the architecture and guidelines defined by the Tech Lead, and contribute to a high‑performing, SEO‑friendly web experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend features using React and Next.js.
• Implement performance and SEO solutions such as SSR, SSG, caching and CDN integration.
• Consume and integrate API contracts (OpenAPI) with proper versioning, error handling and idempotence.
• Build resilience for external dependencies (timeouts, retries, fallback mechanisms).
• Integrate Salesforce services and ensure secure authentication flows (OAuth2/OIDC, token handling).
• Deliver executable frontend code, resolve technical backlog items, and support CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with React and Next.js.
• Basic knowledge of Python, preferably FastAPI, and service design.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, IAM, logging/monitoring).
• Ability to work in English and follow engineering standards (code review, Definition of Done).
