Junior Software Engineer

About the role

StoneX Group is seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join its technology team in Bogota. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates who want hands‑on experience developing modern applications and learning from senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.
• Write clean, basic code under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Fix simple bugs and support ongoing projects.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
• Learn and follow software development best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferably Computer Science).
• 0‑2 years of work experience (entry level).
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with databases and basic SQL.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work in a collaborative environment.
• Authorized to work in Colombia.
