Junior Software Engineer with Accounting Experience (LATAM)

About the role

Sezzle is looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer who also brings accounting experience. This remote position in LATAM offers the chance to work on fintech solutions that blend finance and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software for financial processes.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from coding to testing and deployment.
• Develop new features for Golang back‑ends and React/React Native front‑ends.
• Use accounting knowledge to identify automation gaps and improve reconciliation workflows.
• Monitor system health using Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a background in accounting who has transitioned to software engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset (high IQ) combined with good interpersonal skills (high EQ).
• Ability to write clean, well‑documented code and follow coding standards.
