L2/L3 Systems Engineer (MSP Experience Required)

About the role

Outsourcing Advantage is seeking a skilled L2/L3 Systems Engineer with solid Managed Services Provider (MSP) experience. The successful candidate will deliver advanced technical support across multiple U.S.-based client environments, focusing on Microsoft cloud and on‑premise technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for diverse client infrastructures.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, servers, endpoints, and virtualization.
• Administer Microsoft cloud services such as Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Intune.
• Manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Group Policy, and directory synchronization.
• Configure and maintain network components like firewalls, VPNs, content filtering, and security solutions.
• Support hypervisor platforms and virtual machines, including Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Oversee backup solutions, perform troubleshooting, and ensure successful data recovery.
• Document service calls, technical resolutions, system diagrams, and internal procedures.
• Create and maintain knowledge‑base articles, checklists, and technical documentation.
• Research and implement new tools and best practices to improve client environments.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in an MSP environment supporting multiple clients.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities for complex technical problems.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet SLA commitments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and process‑driven.
