Lead Auditor Investigator – Global Audit & Assurance

About the role

The Lead Auditor Investigator will head Sensitive Issue investigations across Latin America, ensuring potential financial misstatements, asset misappropriation, conflicts of interest, and policy violations are thoroughly examined. This role supports compliance reviews and special audit projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders, legal counsel, and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute Sensitive Issue investigations, including planning, risk assessment, timeline and budget management, fieldwork coordination, and report preparation.
• Conduct compliance process reviews and special projects in areas such as anti‑bribery, anti‑corruption, healthcare compliance, financial controls, and operational effectiveness.
• Analyze complex financial data and documentation to identify irregularities and support findings.
• Collaborate with attorneys, compliance partners, and third‑party providers to ensure investigations are conducted with quality and professionalism.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading internal audit or investigative engagements, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, asset protection, expense reporting, and corporate conduct policies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple investigations across the Latin America region.
