Lead iOS Software Engineer

About the role

EPAM is looking for a visionary Lead iOS Software Engineer to own the technical strategy and architecture of its native iOS applications. You will guide a team of talented engineers, collaborate with product and design partners, and deliver high‑performance mobile experiences that scale with the business.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the technical vision for iOS products using Swift.
• Establish coding standards, architectural patterns, and best‑practice guidelines across the mobile organization.
• Lead roadmap planning, balancing feature delivery, technical debt, and innovation.
• Partner with designers to implement pixel‑perfect, responsive UI that follows Apple HIG.
• Design robust integrations with RESTful and GraphQL backend services.
• Set engineering quality standards: clean code, code reviews, unit/UI testing with XCTest.
• Drive performance, memory, and battery optimisations using Instruments.
• Own the end‑to‑end release process, including build pipelines, provisioning, and App Store Connect submissions.
• Mentor, hire, and grow a high‑performing iOS engineering team.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading iOS development teams and delivering complex mobile applications.
• Strong architectural mindset with a track record of setting technical direction.
• Excellent collaboration skills with product managers, designers, and backend leads.
