Legal Counsel (Remote) – Colombia

About the role

FullStackFullStack is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to support its fast‑growing software consultancy operations across Latin America. Working remotely from Colombia, you will ensure legal compliance, mitigate risk, and provide strategic advice to internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, amendments, Statements of Work and other legal agreements in both English and Spanish.
• Provide legal counsel on corporate governance, labor law, intellectual property, privacy and compliance matters.
• Support employment‑law issues, manage claims, and develop internal policies and procedures.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on their impact to the business.
• Deliver legal trainings, prepare business legal reports and internal communications.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external counsel, vendors and customers on compliance‑related matters.
• Manage multiple legal priorities while maintaining high‑quality output and meeting deadlines.
• Assist with corporate governance, privacy, IP, and other general corporate legal disciplines, including occasional travel for international support initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant legal experience, especially in commercial agreements and contract negotiation.
• Law degree and active license to practice law in Colombia.
• Ability to advise on corporate and operational legal matters across Latin America.

Required skills

• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of corporate, labor, IP and privacy law.
• Excellent legal research and risk‑management capabilities.
