Legal Officer – Commercial Contracts (Colombia)

About the role

The Legal Officer will ensure Addactis Latina operates in full compliance with Colombian law and international standards while accelerating contract negotiations across Spanish‑speaking markets. Reporting to the General Counsel in France, the role combines legal advisory, contract management, and regional compliance support.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts such as software licences, SaaS agreements, services agreements, NDAs and partnership agreements for clients and partners throughout Latin America.
• Serve as the primary legal point of contact in the region, providing compliance guidance to sales teams to speed up contract sign‑offs.
• Ensure all contractual arrangements comply with Colombian law, relevant Latin American regulations and Addactis group standards, with special focus on intellectual property and software provisions.
• Implement and monitor group legal processes, templates and best practices locally, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Advise internal stakeholders (Sales, Delivery, Finance, Management) on contractual, IP and commercial law matters and flag risks early.
• Support the wider legal team during peak periods and provide backup coverage as needed.
• Coordinate with external counsel in Colombia and across Latin America when required.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with an academic background in business law and contract law; specialization in intellectual property or software law is a plus.
• Law degree obtained in Colombia and thorough familiarity with local rules, customs and contractual practice.
• At least one successful professional experience in commercial contract law, either in‑house or at a law firm; experience with software, SaaS or technology contracts is highly valued.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (working proficiency); French is a plus but not mandatory.
