Logistics Analyst – Import & Export Vehicles

About the role

Tesla is seeking a Logistics Analyst to manage import and export shipments of finished vehicles. The role supports a global distribution network, ensuring timely and compliant delivery from factory to customer.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and coordinate export/import shipments of finished vehicles.
• Book and manage cost‑effective ocean and air transportation.
• Negotiate with carriers and develop transportation plans.
• Ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards, including customs and CI requirements.
• Maintain logistics profiles in the system and prepare required documentation such as Bills of Lading and Shipping Instructions.
• Provide excellent stakeholder service, responding quickly to inquiries and resolving issues.
• Support logistics leadership by gathering and publishing dashboards and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of logistics experience, preferably with ocean and air freight.
• Ability to travel up to 10 % of the time.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to work outside standard 9‑5 hours, including nights and weekends.

Required skills

• Experience with Tableau, SQL and Salesforce (preferred).
• Knowledge of freight forwarding terminology, Incoterms, and basic accounting information retrieval.
