Logistics & Procurement Officer

About the role

Florazu is seeking a Logistics & Procurement Officer to strengthen its Colombian operations. This independent‑contractor role bridges flower farms with global wholesale markets, handling procurement, logistics coordination, and supplier relationship management while working remotely from Colombia.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard and re‑engage partner farms, training growers on Florazu’s platform and processes.
• Conduct regular on‑site visits to farms across Colombia and occasional visits to Ecuador.
• Coordinate logistics workflows: book flight space, manage cargo agency reservations, and resolve high‑pressure shipment issues.
• Manage weekly procurement pricing activities, collect and upload supplier prices, and support negotiations.
• Run weekly financial closure by reconciling supplier invoices with Air Waybills, AWBs and ACWs.
• Leverage digital tools and AI solutions to streamline workflows and improve accuracy.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, sales and finance teams across multiple time zones.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, procurement or supply‑chain operations.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions and continuously improve processes.
• Strong communication skills for training growers and managing supplier relationships.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for farm visits and industry events.
