Logistics & Supply Chain Management Expert (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics & Supply Chain Management Expert to work remotely on a contract basis. The role involves reviewing logistics documentation, creating best‑practice samples, and advising on workflow improvements to ensure compliance and efficiency across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze logistics documents such as packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers for authenticity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Develop annotated sample documentation that illustrates industry best practices.
• Evaluate current supply chain workflows and recommend process improvements based on real‑world experience.
• Provide detailed feedback on logistics scenarios, focusing on document structure and process optimisation.
• Collaborate with project teams to clarify requirements and explain complex logistics concepts.
• Participate in quality‑assurance activities by validating the relevance and correctness of supply‑chain data sets.
• Contribute to the creation of training materials that reflect industry standards and nuanced supply‑chain challenges.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in logistics and supply‑chain management, especially with packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers.
• Strong understanding of logistics workflows, documentation, and global supply‑chain operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing and creating supply‑chain documentation.
• Proven analytical ability to identify process improvements.
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment and deliver high‑quality contributions on time.
