Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager for Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the financial close, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes for its operations in Bogota. The role partners with business leaders to provide insights that drive strategic decisions and supports the company’s mission of building an inclusive digital economy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the financial close process, analysing variances against budget, forecasts and prior year results and delivering business‑driven commentary.
• Drive the development of the annual plan, budget and forecasts, ensuring accurate data upload into the Hyperion budgeting and forecasting tool.
• Create and maintain standardized financial reporting packages, KPIs and dashboards to support business performance.
• Prepare presentations for quarterly business reviews and operating reviews, as well as ad‑hoc analyses.
• Provide financial analytics and insights to senior stakeholders, tracking strategic initiatives and identifying risks and opportunities.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities and financial modeling tools.
• Lead special projects and mentor the finance team.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant, CPA or MBA in Finance.
• Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a proven track record of delivering results in fast‑paced environments.
• Excellent influencing and communication skills, able to present insights to senior management.
• High integrity, meticulous work ethic and the ability to see the broader strategic picture.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Hyperion budgeting and forecasting applications.
• Experience using Oracle financial systems.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools for reporting and analysis.
