Master Piping Designer

About the role

Kent is seeking a Master Piping Designer to provide technical leadership and design authority on ongoing energy projects. The role will act as a lead designer, discipline lead or program lead as required, ensuring high‑quality deliverables across all piping design activities.

Key responsibilities

• Exercise technical authority over criteria, layouts, routing, arrangements, isometrics, supports, materials and deliverables.
• Lead design teams, control scope, budget, priorities and resources.
• Supervise advanced work, manage resource allocation and estimate workload, staffing and milestones.
• Develop, approve and control schedules, activity logic, issue dates, workshare and productivity.
• Maintain technical quality through reviews, change control and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in piping design within the energy sector.
• Strong leadership and ability to act as design authority.
• Excellent organisational skills for managing schedules, resources and budgets.
