Mechanical Designer – Architectural Metal, Signage & Glass

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to create detailed designs, models, and drafts for architectural metal, signage, and glass projects. The role is fully remote and operates on an 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST schedule, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and production teams from concept through completion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop precise 3‑D models and 2‑D drawings for metal, signage, and glass installations.
• Perform structural and thermal analyses using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate designs.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure design feasibility, cost‑effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare documentation, bill of materials, and design specifications for manufacturing.
• Support prototyping, testing, and iterative design improvements.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) for clear communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on mechanical design experience, preferably in construction or architectural applications.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Expertise in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Practical knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural and thermal evaluation.
• Autodesk Certified Professional (Inventor) or equivalent certification.
• Familiarity with design optimization, prototyping, and testing processes.
