Médico General para Plantas de Producción

About the role

Cargill is seeking a General Physician to provide medical support at its production plants in Colombia. The role focuses on delivering primary health care to employees, reducing absenteeism, handling work‑related injuries, and promoting disease prevention in line with Colombian occupational health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site medical consultations for the workforce and refer patients to external health providers when necessary.
• Prepare monthly management reports on medical activities following established guidelines.
• Plan and execute health promotion and disease prevention programs in assigned locations.
• Support occupational health management, including emergency response and accident care.
• Perform other duties inherent to the medical profession as required.

Required profile

• Medical degree (Physician) with at least one year of post‑rural‑year outpatient experience.
• Experience in designing and implementing prevention and promotion programs compliant with Colombian law.
• Ability to manage medical emergencies.
• Preferred knowledge of administrative tasks and proficiency with Excel or PowerPoint.
• Certification in Advanced Life Support is a plus.
