Member of Technical Staff – Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff focused on Legal Research to join a global software development leader. This fully remote position involves deep analysis of legal and regulatory frameworks and the creation of technical solutions that embed compliance into product development.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to guide product decisions.
• Design and implement technical frameworks and tools that automate legal research workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and compliance teams to integrate legal insights into design.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and guidelines that ensure product compliance.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proficiency with legal research methodologies and tools.
• Experience conducting regulatory analysis and working within compliance frameworks.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear technical requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
