Mid-Level AI Engineer (Agentic Platform)

About the role

CI&T is building an enterprise‑grade agentic AI platform for a leading media and broadcasting technology company. As a Mid‑Level AI Engineer you will help design and implement a serverless, multi‑tenant solution that powers conversational AI interfaces for operations management, knowledge retrieval, data analysis, and system mutations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate hybrid knowledge bases and Model Context Protocol (MCP) gateways.
• Orchestrate agentic skills using the Strands Python framework.
• Implement dual‑layer security architecture with human‑in‑the‑loop governance.
• Design and maintain serverless components on AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, S3, CloudWatch).
• Ensure strict tenant isolation, observability, and performance monitoring for 50,000+ daily interactions.

Required profile

• Proven experience with AWS Bedrock and AgentCore components.
• Strong Python development background using AI/ML frameworks such as Strands or LangChain.
• Hands‑on work with vector databases and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures (e.g., OpenSearch, Pinecone).
• Experience building API gateways and integrating Model Context Protocol.
• Advanced English proficiency and familiarity with Agentic SDLC practices (prompt engineering, HITL workflows).
