Mobile Software Developer (Remote – Colombia)

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Software Developer to join our International IT team at eXp Realty. This fully remote position is based in Colombia and focuses on building and maintaining our Nexus platform mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS and Android applications.
• Translate designs, wireframes, and product requirements into functional features.
• Implement and consume APIs to connect the app with backend services and third‑party integrations.
• Fix bugs, resolve crashes, and optimise performance, memory usage and battery consumption.
• Write and run unit and integration tests to ensure reliability.
• Manage build, release and deployment processes for the App Store and Google Play, ensuring compliance with submission guidelines.
• Handle versioning, roll‑outs and post‑release monitoring.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA and backend teams, participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Document architectural decisions and follow secure coding practices to protect user data.
• Stay current with mobile development trends and recommend improvements to architecture and user experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 1‑2 years of professional software development experience.
• 1‑2 years of experience developing mobile applications for iOS and/or Android.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to process and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Effective problem‑solving abilities.
