Outbound Sales Representative (Setter)

About the role

Morcel is looking for an Outbound Sales Representative (Setter) to join its Marketing team. You will lead outbound outreach to restaurant owners across Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador, and Panama, uncovering their challenges and demonstrating how Morcel’s digital menu platform can boost their sales and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively contact restaurant and food‑business owners via calls, WhatsApp, email, and social channels.
• Identify operational pain points and clearly explain how Morcel solves them.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads before passing them to the sales team.
• Schedule and confirm product demos for the closing team.
• Follow up persistently with prospects to keep them engaged.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM.
• Collaborate with Marketing to refine messaging and outreach sequences.
• Meet and exceed monthly targets for outreach activity, qualified meetings, and lead‑to‑demo conversion.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year experience in sales development, telemarketing, business development, or outbound outreach (preferred but not mandatory).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence initiating cold conversations with new prospects.
• Proactive, organized, and results‑oriented mindset.
• Interest or experience in food, hospitality, or SaaS is a plus.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of CRM systems.
• Experience with WhatsApp Business for outreach.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn for prospecting.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
