About the role

We are seeking a full‑time remote Dispatcher to support owner‑operator carriers at Borges Logistics Inc. The role focuses on booking loads, coordinating shipments, and building strong relationships with brokers and drivers to ensure timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

Book Reefer, Dry Van, and Flatbed loads using DAT and Truckstop load boards.
Plan routes, negotiate rates with brokers, and dispatch drivers.
Track shipments in real time and resolve any issues that arise.
Maintain a fleet of 10‑15 trucks per dispatcher, ensuring on‑time performance.
Develop and nurture trustworthy relationships with brokers to increase sales.

Required profile

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
Knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; prior dispatch experience with owner‑operators is a plus.

Required skills

Proficiency with DAT load board.
Proficiency with Truckstop load board.
Experience using dispatch software and systems.
