About the role
TMF Group is seeking a Payroll Team Leader to oversee payroll operations for strategic clients in Uruguay and Paraguay. You will manage a dedicated payroll team, ensure accurate and timely processing, and support the delivery of global implementation projects.
Key responsibilities
- End‑to‑end management of payroll services for a portfolio of strategic clients, ensuring SLA compliance.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate the payroll team, distributing workload effectively.
- Oversee daily payroll processing, guaranteeing accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with internal operations, compliance, and billing teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor KPIs, identify deviations, and implement corrective action plans.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPP) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of payroll processing experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, taxation, and compliance.
- Fluent in English (C1/B2 level) with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
