Planning & Logistic Analyst

About the role

As a Planning & Logistic Analyst at Vopak you will coordinate product receipt and dispatch activities, maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will work closely with terminal management, customer service and external partners to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date inventory control, dispatch and receipt systems, including timely registration of RTT loading and unloading.
• Control weighing of RTTs, verify weights against client requirements, and manage loading/unloading orders.
• Plan the entry of RTTs to the terminal, optimizing infrastructure, tank and line usage.
• Prepare statistical reports for the Port Superintendence and internal KPI analysis.
• Manage the chemical substances information system (SICOQ) for controlled products.

Required profile

• Professional engineering degree (any branch).
• Minimum three years of experience in operations, inventories or related fields, preferably in the chemical industry or port operations.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Basic understanding of customs procedures, inventory management and foreign trade.
• Strong command of English (spoken, written, reading).
