Process Engineer – Hazardous Waste Efficiency

About the role

Veolia seeks a process‑oriented professional to diagnose, design and implement technological and methodological improvements across all stages of hazardous waste management. The role focuses on turning field data into profitable, sustainable technical‑economic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site technical support during receipt, storage, conditioning, treatment and disposal of hazardous waste.
• Consolidate, audit and analyse operational data to identify bottlenecks, gaps and inefficiencies.
• Develop optimisation alternatives, prepare detailed CAPEX/OPEX/ROI analyses and quantify investment returns.
• Present improvement proposals to committees and secure project approval.
• Support implementation, resolve technical issues, document lessons learned and standardise best practices.

Required profile

• Final‑year or recent graduate in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong foundation in unit‑operations, statistics and cost estimation.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate field data into actionable projects.
