Procurement Manager – Architectural Metal, Signage & Glass

About the role

SD Industries, LLC is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, purchasing and vendor management for architectural metal, signage and glass projects. The role ensures procurement aligns with project budgets, schedules and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and qualify reliable suppliers; maintain a qualified supplier list and performance reports.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and quality; manage and resolve supplier relationships.
• Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs, review and approve purchase orders to ensure compliance with negotiated terms.
• Track orders, follow up with vendors and resolve any procurement issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory logs, reconcile deliveries with purchase orders and generate stock and usage reports.
• Ensure all purchases align with approved project budgets, update cost‑tracking reports and implement cost‑saving strategies.
• Maintain procurement records for audits, ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations and contract requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 + years of procurement experience in construction, manufacturing or fabrication.
• Proven negotiation and vendor‑management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Proficiency with procurement software.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Ability to analyze costs and optimize purchasing strategies.
