About the role
Prysmian is looking for a Procurement Specialist based in Bogotá, Colombia. The role ensures the continuous supply of raw materials, supplies and/or services in line with the company's needs, through agreement management, market analysis, consumption review and supplier consolidation and development, managed via purchase orders.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure a reliable and timely supply of goods and services by managing procurement requests.
- Measure and analyse assigned performance indicators.
- Carry out procurement analysis.
- Complete closing activities by the agreed deadlines.
- Keep the information entered into the system accurate and complete.
- Make sure suppliers deliver what is required and submit invoices.
- Follow up on purchased orders.
Required profile
- Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, International Business or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in related positions.
Required skills
- Preferred: knowledge of Incoterms, SAP and advanced Excel.
- Preferred: B2-level English for reading and interpreting technical documentation.
