Procurement Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Join the Procurement Operations team at a fast‑growing ecommerce company. As a Procurement Specialist you will process purchase orders and invoices, support vendor documentation, and collaborate closely with Finance, Fulfillment and Inbound teams to keep the supply chain running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately enter purchase orders and supplier invoices into internal systems, ensuring alignment with contractual terms.
• Collect, verify and upload vendor documentation, quotes and pricing to maintain compliance with internal controls.
• Monitor open purchase orders and delivery schedules, flagging potential delays or discrepancies.
• Work with Finance, Fulfillment and Inbound teams to resolve invoice or receipt mismatches promptly.
• Maintain supplier records (W9s, insurance certificates, contracts) for audit and compliance purposes.
• Assist in sourcing activities by gathering quotes, comparing pricing and preparing summary data for procurement managers.
• Participate in process‑improvement initiatives aimed at reducing manual effort and shortening cycle times.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or related administrative roles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional work.

• ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP or Coupa (experience a plus)
