Project Engineer – Automotive Electrical Systems

About the role

Yazaki, a Colombian‑Japanese leader in automotive electrical systems, is seeking a bilingual Project Engineer to act as the bridge between key clients and internal teams. You will ensure seamless information flow, support commercial activities, and deliver timely solutions for all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage communication between customers and internal departments.
• Develop and structure technical‑commercial proposals for B2B accounts.
• Oversee after‑sales support and follow‑up in manufacturing projects.
• Analyze costs related to commercial proposals and ensure profitability.
• Apply project management principles to plan, execute, and monitor project milestones.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, International Business or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical‑commercial proposal preparation, B2B commercial management, or after‑sales roles within manufacturing, preferably automotive.
• Strong knowledge of project management and implementation.
• Proficiency in English (B2‑C1 level) and Spanish.
