Proposal Engineer

About the role

As a Proposal Engineer at Atlas Copco Group, you will create comprehensive and competitive proposals that match client needs and corporate standards. You will work within the Corporate Units team, supporting sales with a technical and consultative approach while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Adapt continuously to support new Customer Centers and evolving sales tasks.
• Develop accurate and timely quotations for a wide range of products and services.
• Follow up on pending quotations to aid sales conversion and pipeline progress.
• Assign qualified prospects to appropriate sales representatives or teams.
• Provide administrative support to free up time for sales engineers.
• Transcribe incoming calls and enter relevant notes into the CRM system.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Proposal Engineer or in a related technical sales role.
• Strong expertise in technical proposal development with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and client interaction.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance.
