Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join a fast‑moving healthcare technology team building AI‑driven platforms, including voice‑based systems. You will ensure reliability, safety and scalable quality while supporting rapid delivery cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated tests for web applications and backend APIs.
• Perform manual testing for early‑stage or rapidly changing features.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable frequent, reliable releases.
• Validate system behavior across deployments, focusing on AI‑driven and voice‑based functionalities.
• Collaborate with developers during planning, refinement and debugging to improve quality early.
• Investigate test failures, perform root‑cause analysis and apply risk‑based testing strategies.
• Anticipate edge cases, negative scenarios and nondeterministic behavior in complex, data‑heavy workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in QA automation within production software environments.
• Hands‑on testing of web applications and backend APIs as part of release cycles.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows.
• Comfort working in fast‑moving teams with limited documentation.
• Exposure to data‑heavy, asynchronous or AI‑driven systems is a plus.
• Background in healthcare, voice systems or reliability‑sensitive domains is a plus.

• Automation tools: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium.
• Programming/scripting: JavaScript, TypeScript.
• API testing and performance testing.
• CI/CD test execution.
• Regression testing and nondeterministic behavior testing.
• Data pipeline validation and ML‑driven decision engine testing.
• Voice AI testing tools, chatbot interaction testing.
• Mobile test automation and chaos testing.
