Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to build regression automation and drive quality practices across a growing platform. The role blends manual testing with automated scripts, covering smoke, integration, and performance tests while documenting feature behavior.

Key responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts supporting application functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior and test outcomes.
• Identify and escalate quality risks, collaborate with product and customer‑facing teams, and participate in on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an upper‑intermediate English level.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality and ability to work in a remote environment.

Required skills

• JavaScript and TypeScript programming.
• Gherkin for behavior‑driven development.
• Automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, Postman, JMeter.
• Testing support tools like GitHub Actions, LambdaTest, SendGrid, Datadog, PagerDuty.
• SQL proficiency and experience with Ruby on Rails.
