Regional R2R Lead – Finance Operations

About the role

Monks Technology Services is seeking an experienced R2R Regional Lead to join its finance team in Bogotá. Reporting to local finance leadership, you will partner with Controllership teams and act as the Global Process Owner for Record‑to‑Report, driving both global standardisation and regional operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the R2R team using NetSuite OneWorld ERP to ensure timely journal entries, revenue and balance‑sheet reconciliations, accruals, inter‑company transactions and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Review and approve journal entries and balance‑sheet reconciliations, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance with group month‑end deadlines.
• Own balance‑sheet accounts, perform analytical reviews, and document month‑end specifications.
• Oversee revenue recognition processes, including net revenue and work‑in‑progress.
• Conduct monthly balance‑sheet review meetings and resolve aging items.
• Support external and internal audits, providing evidence and tracking action plans.
• Prepare statutory financial statements in line with IFRS/GAAP and local regulations.
• Ensure compliance with regional tax rules (VAT/GST), data‑protection laws and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Fully qualified accounting designation (CPA, ACCA, etc.).
• Minimum 4 years of experience leading an R2R team in a multi‑entity corporate finance environment.
• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite OneWorld ERP.
