Remote Biology Expert – $250 per Task (Short‑Term)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Biology expert to design and solve challenging biology problems for evaluating large language models. This short‑term, task‑based contract offers flexible hours and a $250 payment per completed task.

Key responsibilities

• Design biology problems that probe the limits of large language models.
• Develop step‑by‑step solutions with clear, rigorous reasoning.
• Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problem types with evaluation goals.
• Help define new evaluation benchmarks covering topics from early undergraduate to PhD level.
• Analyze complex biological problems using a structured, logical approach.
• Explain biology concepts clearly using simple language, visuals, or simulations.
• Provide detailed annotations and constructive feedback for AI evaluation workflows.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field (or currently pursuing a PhD/Postdoctoral degree).
• Strong research and analytical abilities.
• Creative and lateral thinking.
• Excellent written communication and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• LinkedIn profile mandatory in the resume.
• Willingness to undergo background verification after onboarding.
