Remote Bookkeeper (Colombia)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to support the day‑to‑day financial operations of our business. The position is fully remote and open only to candidates based in Colombia. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting the finance team with routine bookkeeping tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process invoices, bills, and payments promptly.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and payment records.
• Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks.
• Monitor and reconcile customer payments processed through Stripe.
• Manage bills and payment workflows using Bill.com.
• Assist with month‑end reconciliations and basic financial reporting.
• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
• Help resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
• Support the finance team with additional bookkeeping and administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar finance role.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• QuickBooks (day‑to‑day bookkeeping).
• Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Stripe (payment processing).
• Bill.com (bill and payment workflow).
