Remote Controller – Full Cycle Accounting (Remote, Colombia)

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing US accounting and financial consulting firm, is looking for a proactive Remote Controller to lead full‑cycle accounting for multiple US clients from Colombia. The position is 100% remote, full‑time, and offers a competitive weekly salary with performance bonuses.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of US client engagements, ensuring timely month‑end closes and high‑quality service.
• Prepare and review multi‑entity financial statements, GL reconciliations, and management reports in accordance with US GAAP.
• Design and monitor internal control frameworks, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Manage forensic accounting projects, historical clean‑up, and support external audits.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, coaching, and development for the accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum 2 years as an Accounting Manager and at least 5 years in supervisory financial roles.
• Fluent written and spoken English; able to lead calls with US stakeholders.
• Dedicated home office with reliable high‑speed internet.

Required skills

• Professional proficiency with QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling (lookup functions, pivot tables, macros).
