Remote Operational Finance Controller (LATAM)

About the role

Acquisition Lab Services is seeking a Remote Operational Finance Controller to oversee the full finance function for a portfolio of 7–10 US‑based small businesses. The role is hands‑on, covering accounting operations, reporting, cash‑flow management and acting as a finance partner to acquisition entrepreneurs.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end accounting operations across multiple SMBs, including AR, AP, GL and month‑end close.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and deliver reporting packages with clear insights.
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards and perform variance analysis versus budget and prior periods.
• Manage cash‑flow visibility, create 13‑week forecasts and monitor liquidity to ensure operational sustainability.
• Support working‑capital optimization and identify risks with actionable recommendations.
• Act as finance partner to CEOs, ensuring compliance with SLAs, timelines and US GAAP.
• Implement and maintain internal controls, audit‑ready documentation and standardised processes across entities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance or controller roles.
• Proven ability to manage full accounting cycles for multiple entities.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in cash‑flow forecasting and variance analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to partner with business owners and entrepreneurs.
