Remote Senior Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Online) for US Nonprofits

About the role

Mighty Nonprofits is seeking a Remote Senior Bookkeeper to provide full‑cycle bookkeeping for U.S. nonprofit clients. You will work from anywhere in Latin America, delivering accurate financial records and clear reporting to support mission‑driven organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑to‑end bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online, including reconciliations, transaction categorisation, monthly adjustments, and reporting.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices through Bill.com, and handle bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and custom reports for nonprofit stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the global team using ClickUp and Google Workspace to track tasks and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of full‑cycle bookkeeping experience for U.S. entities.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online used actively within the past year.
• Fluent English (B2+), able to communicate directly with U.S. clients.
• Formal accounting training or a related university/technical qualification.
• Reliable remote work setup: computer, stable/fibre internet, self‑directed work style.
