Remote Technical Support Technician – Hardware & Robotics

About the role

Sweet Robo is seeking a Remote Technical Support Technician to keep its fleet of autonomous vending machines operating at peak performance. You will diagnose hardware and software issues from a distance, guide on‑site operators and customers through repairs, and collaborate closely with the Brooklyn engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support via phone, email, video, and remote tools.
• Diagnose hardware and software faults and walk on‑site staff through step‑by‑step repairs.
• Troubleshoot machine connectivity, configuration, and software issues.
• Escalate complex cases to the engineering team with clear documentation.
• Track open issues to resolution and keep customers proactively updated.
• Document solutions and troubleshooting steps in the internal knowledge base.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience repairing, assembling, or maintaining hardware, electronics, or electromechanical systems.
• Excellent spoken and written English for clear communication with US customers.
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple open issues simultaneously.
