Repair Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Repair Technician to service and test mechanical and electro‑mechanical assemblies for Diebold Nixdorf. The role involves diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and ensuring products meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble assigned mechanical and electro‑mechanical products.
• Identify, isolate, and correct malfunctions using drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams.
• Generate and maintain test reports, logs, and documentation.
• Report recurring quality issues to the appropriate teams.
• Use precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges to measure components.
• Support refurbishment activities and enhance knowledge of the product line.

Required profile

• Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in mechanical or electro‑mechanical repair.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Mechanical assembly and disassembly.
• Electro‑mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
• Reading technical drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams.
• Use of precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges).
