Ruby on Rails Developer - Remote Work

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a senior Ruby on Rails developer to design and build modern web applications for mobile and desktop devices. The role is fully remote and offers the chance to work with a global team of top tech talent.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive web applications for multiple devices.
• Execute all phases of the systems engineering process.
• Plan, process and perform tasks efficiently without supervision.
• Maintain consistency throughout the product.
• Document code consistently throughout development.
• Provide technical documentation for design, implementation and testing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• 5+ years of front‑end development experience (JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5).
• 1+ year developing web applications using ReactJS, Flux, Redux, Relay, etc.
• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Backbone, Marionette.
• Proficiency with ES2015/ES6/ES7.
• Experience with command‑line tools, APIs and client‑side performance optimization.
• Advanced English proficiency.
