Sales Engineer (AI Security Solutions)

About the role

TrendAI™ is looking for a Sales Engineer to showcase our AI‑driven security automation capabilities. You will work closely with the sales team and customers to deliver compelling demos, proof‑of‑concepts and help organizations reduce the time needed to detect and contain threats.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to customer challenges, collaborate with sales, and demonstrate tailored solutions.
• Design and deliver Proof‑of‑Concept services for pre‑sales engagements.
• Maintain ongoing technical touchpoints and health checks with existing customers.
• Share best practices with fellow SEs to improve service quality.
• Develop deep subject‑matter expertise in assigned products.
• Travel regionally for customer visits, marketing events and user‑group sessions.
• Channel feature requests to Product Management.
• Present partner solutions at webinars and events.

Required profile

• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience in security software pre‑sales.
• 2‑5 years of sales engineering or related technical sales experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer‑service skills, able to engage both technical staff and C‑level executives.
• Self‑starter with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Required skills

• Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
• Anti‑malware, IDS/IPS, Data Loss Prevention, File Integrity Monitoring, Email and Web Security.
• Syslog and SIEM solutions.
• Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and SOC operations.
• Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud.
• Linux/UNIX system administration.
