SAP BW / BW/4HANA Developer (4-5 yrs experience)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on SAP BW and BW/4HANA developer with 4‑5 years of experience to design, build and maintain data models, ETL processes and reporting solutions. The role works closely with functional teams (OTC, PTP, FI, SCM) and analytics consumers to deliver reliable, high‑performance data services.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance and create extractors in ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Design and implement data models in SAP BW and BW/4HANA using DSO/ADSO, Open ODS, Composite Providers and InfoObjects.
• Develop end‑to‑end data flows from SAP and non‑SAP sources.
• Enable analytics through BW Queries, Web Intelligence and Analysis for Office.
• Build and monitor Process Chains, handling errors and operational tasks.
• Collaborate with functional teams to ensure data quality and performance.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of hands‑on experience with SAP BW and BW/4HANA.
• Strong data‑modeling expertise (DSO/ADSO, Open ODS, Composite Providers, InfoObjects, BW Queries).
• ETL experience with legacy extractors, ODP extractors and CDS‑based extraction.
• Solid ABAP programming for routines and user exits; AMDP/SQLScript knowledge is a plus.
• Experience building Process Chains and managing monitoring/error handling.
• Understanding of LSA/LSA++, data governance and BW security (authorizations).
