SDR / Business Development Representative (BDR)

About the role

This is a consultative outbound Sales Development Representative position focused on prospecting, lead generation, relationship nurturing, and appointment setting for a U.S. sales team. The role requires building trust with business owners and senior decision‑makers, recognizing buying signals, and delivering the right message at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate genuine conversations with prospects through personalized outreach across phone, email, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Research prospects and their businesses to tailor messaging and improve engagement.
• Generate and qualify opportunities, maintaining a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.
• Monitor engagement signals and follow up with contextual, timely communication.
• Schedule qualified meetings when interest and timing align.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking and pipeline visibility.
• Meet weekly outreach and meeting‑generation targets.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in sales development, business development or lead generation with a proven track record.
• Strong cold‑calling skills and confidence engaging senior‑level decision‑makers.
• Advanced written and verbal English (C1 or higher).
• Highly organized, process‑oriented and able to manage follow‑ups without gaps.
• Resilient, coachable and committed to continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM and sales engagement platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Outreach.
