Security Engineer (IAM)

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Security Engineer specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to support the migration of application integrations from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID. You will work on a large‑scale identity transformation across a broad enterprise application portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Support technical migration of SAML, OIDC, and OAuth2 client‑credentials flows from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID for roughly 200 applications.
• Assist in migrating approximately 45,000 users from SMS authentication to Okta Verify.
• Troubleshoot SSO/authentication issues during migration cutover.
• Coordinate migration scheduling and testing with application teams.
• Contribute to runbooks and documentation to standardize migration processes.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Okta Workforce Identity and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Strong knowledge of SAML and OpenID Connect, including client‑credentials flows.
• Experience working at scale in a matrixed enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in English (B2+ level).
