Senior Account Lead – Colombia

About the role

The Senior Account Lead will drive commercial strategy and institutional relationships with hospitals and clinics across central Colombia, focusing on non‑clinical stakeholders such as procurement, finance, and logistics. The role aims to create sustainable value agreements that maximize profitability and access while aligning customer needs with DePuy Synthes’ comprehensive portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans for key accounts to ensure profitable, sustainable growth.
• Identify institutional business opportunities by understanding client financial and operational dynamics.
• Build trusted relationships with non‑clinical decision makers and negotiate complex corporate contracts, including pricing structures, rebates, long‑term value‑based agreements, and loan‑out arrangements.
• Design differentiated proposals that integrate product portfolio, services, and solutions while ensuring compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
• Monitor financial impact of agreements and own key performance indicators such as sales growth, margin, and commercial target achievement.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (clinical sales, marketing, access, finance, legal, compliance) to align execution with strategy.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in commercial or key account management roles.
• Background in healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals (preferred).
• Proven track record in high‑value, complex negotiations.
• Strong strategic negotiation, financial thinking, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and analytical planning skills.
