Senior Account Manager – Protein Industry

About the role

Sealed Air is seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive profitable growth, market penetration, and customer satisfaction within the protein industry. You will develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with meat, poultry, seafood, and processed protein manufacturers, promoting integrated packaging solutions, equipment, and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for key protein processors and food manufacturers.
• Build and strengthen long‑term relationships with procurement, operations, quality, engineering, R&D, and executive leadership.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities while expanding Sealed Air's presence within existing strategic accounts.
• Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and long‑term customer agreements.
• Partner with Technical Service teams to coordinate product trials, implementations, and customer‑specific solutions.
• Deliver annual sales, profitability, and market share objectives.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with supply chain, manufacturing, marketing, and finance to ensure successful execution of customer strategies.
• Analyze market and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and strengthen competitive position.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7–10+ years of B2B sales, strategic/key account management, or technical sales experience, preferably within the protein, food processing, or packaging industries.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex commercial negotiations and develop long‑term customer partnerships.
• Strong financial acumen, including pricing, profitability, and gross‑margin understanding.
• Proven capability to influence and lead cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
