About the role
The Ethoca Finance organization within Mastercard Controllership is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage daily accounts receivable operations for Ethoca, a Mastercard company. You will ensure accurate financial records, process customer payments, and support month‑end close activities.
Key responsibilities
- Process customer payments (cheques, credit cards) and set up new customers.
- Prepare and send semi‑monthly dunning emails.
- Generate and analyze aging reports to prioritize collections and minimize write‑offs.
- Reconcile customer accounts, investigate variances, and prepare journal entries.
- Provide prompt service to internal and external stakeholders and support SOX testing and audits.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- Fluent professional English.
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting procedures.
- Experience in accounts receivable and financial operations in multinational environments.
- Strong analytical, time‑management and communication skills.
